Founded in 2024 by Tractor Beverage Company, the Farmhand Foundation is a visionary initiative dedicated to helping growers prosper. By tackling challenges in soil health, certification, and market access, the Foundation is paving the way for sustainable farming to become the norm, not the exception.

As an environmental partner of 1% for the Planet, the Farmhand Foundation advances regenerative and organic agriculture to build a more sustainable food system for future generations.

HOW WE GOT STARTED

A few years ago, we launched Tractor Beverage Company, an organic beverage company committed to crafting delicious drinks using sustainable practices. As our company grew, so did our commitment to a cleaner planet.

To further advance our mission, we established The Farmhand Foundation—a non-profit dedicated to revolutionizing the future of agriculture by ensuring growers prosper, ecosystems thrive, and the regenerative domestic supply chain expands.

Ojai, CA: Beginning in Our Own Backyard

Ojai is known for its rich agricultural history. It’s home to many of us, and we love it. Unfortunately, its farming community is at a crossroads. Growers face water scarcity, rising land costs, and a reliance on conventional practices that threaten the region’s agricultural future.  

By focusing on this region, we can build deep relationships, create scalable solutions, and demonstrate how local support can transform a community into a resilient one. This grassroots approach sets the stage for future expansion and lasting change.
